Issue/Introduction

To develop a solution that uses only one service account user, who is able to run AWA processes, SQL DB agent, and RA agent (i.e. Informatica, etc).  It will also reference the same LD_LIBRARY_PATH, containing ORACLE_HOME and INFA_HOME.

Environment

Unix
Oracle

Resolution

A simple, minimalistic environment is the best approach.

Example:

ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/12.2.0.1/db_1;export ORACLE_HOME
INFA_HOME=/opt/informatica/10.2.0/PowerCenter;export INFA_HOME
INFA_DOMAINS_FILE=/opt/informatica/10.2.0/domains.infa;export INFA_DOMAINS_FILE
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib:$INFA_HOME/server/bin::$LD_LIBRARY_PATH;export LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Result:
