Password Style on Field Properties

Issue/Introduction

When you create a screen and you use the the Password style it will show asterisk, but if you click on that field it will show the actual value of the field.

How do you get it to always just show the asterisk and not the field value ?

CA  Identity Manager - All Versions

Resolution

When you use the Password Style for a field there are 2 choice:

When highlighted still show asterisk :

When Highlighted show the Field :

<Please see attached file for image>

To change the value on the Style Select Screen if you want to see the value, then check the Show Typing Box:

If you want to see the *******  leave that Box unchecked.
