Issue/Introduction

CA Strong Authentication's arcotcommon.ini file's sections namely "[arcot/db/primarydb]" and "[arcot/db/backupdb]" do not support URLs to multiple DBs. Per design, for a Active-Active DB configuration each CA Strong Application stack needs to point to a single Database as the Primary or a Backup Database.

Resolution

Per CA Strong Authentication's design for achieving Active-Active DB, multiple Primary and Backup databases should not be pointed to via multiple JDBC URLs in arcotcommon.ini, that is, a single CA Strong Application stack cannot be configured for multiple Primary and Backup DBs.
