Dynamic Capacity Intelligence
Issue/Introduction
CA Dynamic Capacity Intelligence (DCI) Controller shows at startup a message indicating that the licence has nnn days remaining. For example: DCI1112I: REMAINING DAYS OF LICENSE: 131 Let's assume that 131 days from today is December, 31st 2018
However the related LMP code has a different date, for example: CAS9115I - INPUT: PROD(CM) DATE(19OCT19) CPU(nnnn-nnn /ssssss) LMPCODE(******* CAS9190I - PRODUCT (CM) KEY ACCEPTED FOR THIS CPU
This seems to be inconsistent.
Cause
zDynaCap (zDC) is installed also on the same LPAR and DCI is looking there for the days remaining in that zDC version.
Environment
CA Dynamic Capacity Intelligence 1.5 GEN 0200
Resolution
The DCI1112I was completely removed starting from GEN 0300 as it was misleading. Install all the available maintenance to resolve the problem.
