Issue/Introduction

Parameters specified after XCOMTCP on the CA XCOM command line were not picked up. How to resolve this?

Environment

Release: CA XCOM Data Transport for Windows, UNIX, Linux
Component:

Cause

The -f flag was not specified.

Resolution

The -f flag is required whether you specify the name of a configuration file or not. -f indicates that there are parameters either in a .cnf file or on the command line.

-f CONFIGFILENAME

The -f parameter is required if you are going to specify either a configuration file name and/or parameters on the command line. CA XCOM Data Transport reads CONFIGFILENAME to set the parameters necessary for the transfer. The CONFIGFILENAME should be specified as a full path name.
