Issue/Introduction
Is it possible to configure Service Desk Manager (SDM) with MS SQL Server database in a non Windows OS?
Environment
Service Desk 14.1 or higher
Resolution
Only Oracle databases are supported when SDM is installed in a non Windows environment. This is due to the fact that the SQL Server client and/or drivers cannot be installed in non Windows OS, for this reason, when SDM is installed, the option to install SQL is disabled or grayed out.
