Issue/Introduction

Using a GENERATE action: GENERATE ELEMENT '######' FROM ENVIRONMENT 'env' SYSTEM 'sys' SUBSYSTEM 'ssys' TYPE 'typ' STAGE 2 ED

We obtain a SECURITY VIOLATION about another action:
C1E0107I USER userid RESTRICTED FROM FUNC MOVE RESOURCE hlq.qual.sys.MOVE C1E0105E A SECURITY VIOLATION HAS OCCURRED. ACTION DENIED.

Could you explain why a generate action resulted in a move request ?

Resolution

A GENERATE action in stage 2 will result is a MOVE authorization request.
A GENERATE in stage 1 would result in a GENERATE authorization.

This is explained by the Default authorization values in the ESI security guide.
That returned value (MENUAUTH) reflects the access level of the request, not the action itself.

The move requires needs to meet the security setting.

Additional Information
