Client Automation allows you to push agents to machines with no agents, this is done using Infrastructure Deployment Wizard. You can use it to push to Windows, Linux, AIX, HP, and UNIX agents.
How to remove DSM packages from the Infrastructure Deployment Wizard?
Client Automation - All Versions
To delete a Infrastructure Deployment package from the Wizard, it's needed to delete the Package in the CA\DSM\Packages\Public Folder.
Here is an example of a list of Infrastructure Deployment Wizard packages:
The top package is CA DSM Agent + Basic Inventory plugin 14.0.1000.193 Windows_x86 NLS, what if you want to remove that Package?
Removing CA Client Automation Packages
The packages are stored in the Packages folder of the CA DSM installation directory(CA\DSM\Packages\Public). They are stored in a folder structure of Agent Type, Version, Language, and Platform as shown in the screenshot below.
You need to find the Package you want to delete in this case:
CA DSM Agent + Basic Inventory plugin 14.0.1000.193 Windows_x86 NLS
All packages, even packages that are R14 will be stored in Directories called 12.0. To delete the package above, just delete the AgentBHW folder, which will delete the Package.
Just be careful because if there are 2 AgentBHW packages (NLS and EN) and you only want to delete the NLS package, you will need to traverse down the patch and Only delete the NLS package.
*** You might want to move or rename the folder first, to make sure you only delete what you want ***
Going back to the Infrastructure Deployment Wizard again, that specific Package has been removed from the list:
