Issue/Introduction

Why is my APPLY receiving this error?

GIM24801S** NO SYSMODS SATISFIED THE OPERANDS SPECIFIED ON THE APPLY COMMAND.

//APPLY EXE PGM=GIMSMP,PARM='DATE=U',REGION=0M
//SMPCSI DD DISP=SHR,DSN=TEST.CV190.CSI
//SMPPTFIN DD DSN=TEST.REL190.DAILY.HIPER.SRCID.TXT,DISP=SHR
//SMPCNTL DD *
SET BOUNDARY(ZCAIT18).
APPLY
CHECK
SOURCEID(HIPER)
GROUPEXTEND
BYPASS(HOLDSYSTEM).
/*

OUTPUT SHOWED:
GIM24801S** NO SYSMODS SATISFIED THE OPERANDS SPECIFIED ON THE APPLY COMMAND.
I checked all the entries in the HIPER file and they were not for CA IDMS.
Do I really need to run the RECEIVE and APPLY for the HIPER stuff?

Environment

Release:
Component: IDMS

Resolution

To resolve:

- Do not include the DAILY.HIPER.SRCID in your APPLY because there are no HIPER Source IDs found for any of the FMIDs in your CSI. Since there are no HIPER source IDs for CA IDMS in that file, you do not need to include this file in your APPLY.
