TPX uses Common Services LMP keys to activate the various components of TPX. We are planning to remove the LMP key O5 for the TPX Windows option. How can we verify whether we are using this option or not?
With Windows LMP key active, you will see this messages in the TPX startup:
TPX9925 OPTION WINDOWS OF UNICENTER CA-TPX IS AUTHORIZED
When you remove the LMP keys, these messages will disappear after the next IPL.
You can display how many Windows sessions are active via TPXOPER: D APPL. Then select the Windows applid (as below).
