Issue/Introduction

Cluster nodes in Azure are configured with FQDNs like "***.azurewebsites.net". IP addresses are linked to the FQDN by DHCP automatically.

The questions are :

  1. Does the PAM work appropriately on the above condition without any problem?
  2. On the above environment, are there any notes to set the clustering configuration? (i.e. how to configure the Virtual IP, how to define a specific settings on the Azure side).

Also, is the "Azure Load Balancer" supported with PAM?

Resolution

If the name resolution is solved from the client to PAM server, it should be working fine. Regarding the clustering configuration in Azure, please see the below DocOps.

As the Azure Load Balancer has not been certified with PAM, it is not supported.
