CA Application Performance Management Agent (APM / Wily / Introscope) INTROSCOPE

Issue/Introduction

Recently created Custom Domains in CA APM v10.5. We found there is an issue while mapping agents to subdomains. Even though agents were mapped in domains.xml it is not showing in Subdomains list under investigator. All show under Super Domains

Newly created Sub Custom Domains and are created and assigned permission as per CA APM 10.5 APM Guide Security and Domain Permissions.

Environment

CA APM 10.5

Resolution

Change the Agent mapping expression to:

<agent mapping=".*\|.*\|.*"/>

OR

<agent mapping="(.*\|.*\|.*)"/>

Sometimes it works better with the parenthesis
