Issue/Introduction

Duplicate Landscape Errors seen in the Spectrum Control Panel (SCP) window. The two servers listed are from two separate Distributed SpectroSERVER (DSS) environments. One a development DSS and one a production DSS. The landscapes listed do have the same landscape handle. However, they are not part of the same DSS.

Environment

Release: Any
Component: SPCCSS

Cause

The $SPECROOT/.hostrc files on each SpectroSERVER system in each DSS contain a plus "+" character.

Resolution

Modify the $SPECROOT/.hostrc files on each SpectroSERVER system to only contain the hostnames or ip addresses of the SpectroSERVER, OneClick and Report Manager systems in their respective DSS.

After making the change to the .hostrc file, gracefully shutdown all Spectrum processes including processd and restart them.

Additional Information

Please reference the "Host Resource Configuration File (.hostrc)" section of the documentation for more information.
