Filtering by Project in the Staffing portlet throws a 500 Error

When trying to filter by "Project" in the PM Alerts' Staffing portlet, an Error 500 is thrown.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Make sure PMO add-in is installed.
  2. From the Overview tab, go to the PM Alerts tab.
  3. On the Staffing portlet, click on Options > Configure.
  4. Click on Chart Filter Section > Layout.
  5. Add the "Project" attribute to any Selected column and Save and Return.
  6. Filter by "Project"
Expected Results: Results appear filtered by the portlet
Actual Results: An "Error 500 - Internal Server Error. The server could not retrieve the document due to server-configuration or other technical problems. Contact your site administrator." is received. Logout is necessary to be able to use the portlet again.


This has been reported for CA PPM 15.3 and reproduced in 15.4.x.


This issue has been reported to Engineering as DE43460.


This issue is fixed in CA PPM 15.5 SP1 (15.5.1).
