Issue/Introduction

Java Web Start is used by CA-RA Automation Studio (ASAP).

Oracle has now announced that these two features will only be supported with Java 8 until January 2019 http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/eol-135779.html
Without Java Web Start, ASAP will not run anymore......
 What is planned solution / workaround for ASAP without Java Web Start?

Release Automation Product Development is aware of this change and they are working to provide alternate way of using Automation studio . Right now we don't have any ETA for the solution but it will be in place before Java Web Start reaches EOL.
