Error: null data near '<prompt-value>'. The xml does not comply to the expected grammar

Issue/Introduction

After applying the "Spectrum_10.02.03.BMP_10.2.301 patch, the following error is continuously displayed in Spectrum Control Panel and logged in VNM.OUT file:

      </attribute>
    </equals>

When looking at the patch install log file, you can see some errors regarding to file copying.

Environment

Spectrum 10.2.3

Cause

There was a failure applying the patch.

Resolution

In a bash shell (bash -login) window, uninstall and reinstall the patch.
