Issue/Introduction

Apache announces that support for Apache Tomcat 8.0.x will end on 30 June 2018. What is the impact for WCC 11.4 SP6?

Resolution

The "End Of Life" announcement  is only for the Tomcat 8.0.x branch. This does not include the Tomcat 8.5.x branch. WCC 11.4.6 release is bundled with Tomcat 8.5.24, which is still supported. There has not yet been an "End Of Life" announcement for the Tomcat 8.5.x branch.
