Trying to add a shared section to the cluster probe, on a Windows cluster,  results in a pop up dialog that reports:
The node has no valid cluster probe address and you can't add any resources until this is resolved!

The probe logs show
nimsession - failed to connect to session <ip address of node>:port, error code 10060

Carrying out a ping -a of the ip address of the nodes in the cluster then comparing those
names with what the Failover Cluster Manager shows highlighted a difference in node names.

Make sure the name of the cluster node is same as the hostname of the node. This configuration has to be done in the cluster itself (not in the probe).
