What is the best practice to upgrade Siteminder from 12.52 to 12.8 in a complex scenario with multiple Policy Servers? 

 

Resolution

 

At first glance, a parallel upgrade (1)(2) can be considered, as it allows for progressively upgrading most of the components. There are also 2 other ways to upgrade such as in-place (3) and rolling (4).
