Planned Breakeven and Planned Payback Period Fields empty in Financial Summary page

We have several instances of Ideas whose Planned Breakeven and Planned Payback Period (months) fields on the Financial Summary page are blank (i.e. are missing a value). In all instances, either the planned cost is equal to the planned benefit or the planned benefit exceed the planned cost.
How are these breakeven metrics calculated? We expect these fields to have values because we expect that a planned breakeven will occur for these Ideas.
As per this page in the CA PPM Financial Management Guide, the Breakeven and Payback Period metrics consider the value in the initial investment field as part of the total planned cost. When you add the initial investment value to the total planned cost and the total planned cost exceeds the planned benefit of the Idea, then there is no breakeven planned for those instances.
