CA Application Performance Management Agent (APM / Wily / Introscope) INTROSCOPE

If the APM database is down, users are unable to login to the APM Workstation. During this time the EM reports warning messages such as....

[WARN] [C3P0PooledConnectionPoolManager[identityToken->2ypdyg9w1th0atn14ods58|4e375bba, dataSourceName->apmDataSource]-HelperThread-#0] [com.mchange.v2.resourcepool.BasicResourcePool] Having failed to acquire a resource, [email protected] is interrupting all Threads waiting on a resource to check out. Will try again in response to new client requests.
[WARN] [CheckDatabase.Thread1] [com.mchange.v2.c3p0.impl.NewPooledConnection] [c3p0] A PooledConnection that has already signalled a Connection error is still in use!
[WARN] [CheckDatabase.Thread1] [com.mchange.v2.c3p0.impl.NewPooledConnection] [c3p0] Another error has occurred [ org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: This connection has been closed. ] which will not be reported to listeners!

This issue is encountered if the APM database goes down after the EM has started.

APM 10.7 and 10.5.x

This issue is addressed in APM 10.7 Hotfix 15. Please contact CA Support to request this fix.
