SARBCH fails with S906

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to z/OS 2.3, SARBCH /PRINT function is failing with S906.

In the failing job output, we see the following errors:

CSV001I REQUESTS FOR MODULE IGG019BB EXCEED MAXIMUM LOAD COUNT 
CSV028I ABEND906-04 JOBNAME=$TOSCNTD STEPNAME= 123456 
SYSTEM COMPLETION CODE=906 REASON CODE=00000004

Cause

IBM problem described as:
 

After installing UA94501 on 2.3 jobs opening extended format data sets more than 32K times will experience an abend 906 rc04.

The LOAD (SVC8) is issued in IGG0193W +x'2FD)' for IGG019BB.
The load count for IGG019BB is x'7FFF'.

Additional Symptoms:
msgcsv001i REQUESTS for module IGG019AQ or IGG019BB exeed
maximum load count
msgcsv028i
This can occur for IGG019AQ (QSAM) and IGG019BB (BSAM) for
extended format data sets after applying the fix for QA54348.

Resolution

- In terms of preventing the S906 abends occurring in SARBCH from the CA View side, our recommendation is to apply View fixes SO00440 and SO00445 since both apars can affect SARBCH functionality and the replacement SARSFP module prevents known problems with S906 abends.

- Application of IBM apar OA54983 has resolved the customers problem.
