Search returns no results

Issue/Introduction

Search is working for some users, but not for others. Users have all permissions and authorizations. Example:

In the above example, objects containing *soa* should return as Object results, and they exist in the system/Client being searched.

Cause

During investigation, it was found that the UserGroups assigned to some of the Users (but not others) did not have anything specified in the Name field of the Authorizations tab:

Resolution

If the user should not be restricted, add an asterisk (*) to the Name field, save the User/UserGroup, and search again. Results should now return correctly:
