The clients SMP apply of an CA Intertest CICS fix fails with the following error messages but the apply CHECK is successful

Resolution
The PTF is corrupt. When the PTF was offloaded to the clients desk top and then uploaded to the mainframe it somehow became corrupt.
The client had to SMP/E reject the PTF in this case RO93978 from the SMP environment to remove the corrupted version. Then the client offloaded a fresh copy of the fix from the CA Web site. Then the fix was uploaded to the mainframe (BINARY) into a sequential Z/OS dataset with a DCB of RECFM=FB, LRECL=80,BLKSIZE 3200. This sequential file that contained the PTF was successfully received and applied.
