Sysview/ Performance for DB2 report request will not stop

A batch job issues a stop command to report request IRLMCNT2. In the morning the job ran normally, but hours later Sysview Performance for DB2 still shows the request as "ending".

The dump didn't show that any failure occurred in the SRB routine. Strangely, there was another task that was also sitting and waiting for an SRB to complete. So there were had two processes fail to execute an SRB in that address space, but there didn't seem to be any hint as to why. The conclusion was that something was wrong with the address space that was being displayed and then it was cancelled but there was no evidence left over as to what the problem might have been. If it does reoccur the address space that couldn't be canceled should be dumped for investigation.
