Issue/Introduction

Spectrum OneClick Discovery console fails to discover a range of ip addresses but Model By IP from OneClick is successful

Environment

Any Spectrum version

Cause

Possible root cause is the "ICMP Payload Size" of 8 (default) in the Discovery Console is being dropped by the network. 

Resolution

In the Advanced Option of the Discovery Configuration, set the "ICMP Payload Size" value to the default value for your OS.

The default "ICMP Payload" size for Windows is 32 bytes.

The default "ICMP Payload" size for Linux is 64 bytes.
