Issue/Introduction

In the Clarity PPM New User Experience (UX), the Project manager or a team member of a project cannot edit the "Status" section of their project.  Is there a permission for this that I can add to the project manager and team member groups? It seems additional access is required then that in Classic UI.

Resolution

  1. To be able to edit the Status Reports, the project managers should have the permission:
  • Status Report - Edit All at the Global Level (this right can also be granted at the OBS or instance level)
  • Project - Edit rights to the project
The OOTB Access Rights Group "PMO Project Manager" contains all the access rights required to access a project for this project manager in New UX and create/edit the Status Reports on it.

       2. In order to create status reports in the New UX, users require the below access rights:
  • Project - Edit rights
  • Status Report - Create rights
