Your routine CA JMR archive job ends with an IEC028I 837-08 message and SYSTEM COMPLETION CODE=837 REASON CODE=00000008. This typically occurs after the job has used five output tapes and is requesting a sixth tape.

SMS storage classes allow five tapes by default. You need to create a new SMS storage class with a VOLUME-COUNT sub parm to the AVOLUME parm. Set the value for VOLUME-COUNT to six or more. Then use the ASTORCLS parm in JMR to specify your newly created SMS storage class.
