Telon TDF: How may the Header and ID lengths be changed to 3?

Issue/Introduction

The default value for the header id and trailer lengths are '2,4'.  What steps are needed in order to change the default header length to '3'?

 

Environment

Telon Design Facility, release 5.1

Resolution

To change the Header and ID lengths, do the following.

1. Bring up the TDF. 
   
   
2. From the main menu, type in INSTALL at the command line. 
   
   
3. When in the INSTALL panel, type in UP IP, and the password. 
   
   
4. The default password is 'CSIMK'. 
   
   
5. If it has been changed, please contact Technical Support to receive assistance in recovering it.
   
   
6. When the INSTALL panel is displayed,  it will have the default header and 
   
   ID specified as
          1. INSTALL 2 4 (HEADER AND ID LENGTHS) 
   
   
7. This is the appropriate place to now enter your specifications as '3,3'.
