Issue/Introduction

Upon starting CA Dispatch you are receiving a IKJ56228I DATA SET highlevel.qualifier.CNTL NOT IN CATALOG OR CATALOG CAN NOT BE ACCESSED message.

The IKJ56228I messages are displayed just after the message ' DC970056 V1 Bundle Structure Restore Starting'.

How can we prevent this error?

Environment

Release: DISPAX00200-11.7-Dispatch
Component:

Resolution

At startup of CA Dispatch, the IKJ56228I message is issued because the Bundle Recovery dataset does not exist. You need to go to the VSGMU110 screen and define a valid Bundle Recovery DSN Prefix.

Specify values on the VSGMU110 screen (option 9.1 from the main menu) for the following fields:

Bundle Recovery DSN Prefix  ==> ????.????.????  Unit   ==> ?????
                                                Volser ==> ??????

Make sure that the DSN PREFIX that is specified has the necessary security authorizations to be dynamically allocated and deleted by the USERID assigned to the CA Dispatch started task.
