Resolution

In summary, the items are input parameters that are cast as specific variables. They are then used by sub-reports to ensure the correct data is being returned. In this case, the parameters are linked to the Incident Volume, Effort and Cost sub-reports. These sub-reports are all used by the main Analytics report titled "Service Demand - Incidents", to return all related data regarding Incidents.

When a user with the out of the box ROLE_USER role accesses the repository, they will not see these sub-reports. In order to utilize the sub-reports, the user will need to run the main "Service Demand - Incidents" report, which will query them for the required parameter information.
