Issue/Introduction

How can another site send us the VMF from their end? Is it literally the VMF in DFDSS dump format and then FTP to us? Or can they terse it (IBM talk) and email it to us.

Resolution

We have found that IBMs TRSMAIN utility is the best way to transfer the VMF from one site to another. The output file can be FTP'd to the other site.
