Exporting a Project from PPM to MSP or OWB Using IE11 Does Not Work

Clarity PPM On Premise


  • After installing the MSP new driver and verifying that all components show as installed under the Control Panel, MSP will still not open when I select Open in Scheduler on IE 11.
  • The same occurs with Open Workbench (OWB).
  • A symptom that may be noticed: Schedule Connect issue: Sched link download pops up to Retry, Cancel or View Downloads 
  • However, when using other browsers, such as Chrome, the project opens in MSP as expected.

Internet Explorer (IE) 11


The IE11 browser settings need to be reset. See steps below:

1. In IE, select the Tools icon
2. Select Internet Options
3. Go to the Advanced tab
4. Click on the Reset... button
