How to Rename Endevor MCF libraries

Issue/Introduction

The MCF files have the Endevor Version number as part of the MCF data set names and want to rename them to something without the version.

What is the correct way to do this?

All supported versions of Endevor

Resolution

Here is how to change the name of the MCF libraries:

1)  All users must be logged off Endevor.

2)  Copy the MCF files using IDCAMS Repro to new files with the new names or Rename the files using an IDCAMS Alter

3)  Update the names in C1DEFLTS, assemble and relink it

4)  Run the BC1JXCNM job with UPDATE option in the iprfx.iqual.CSIQJCL library
