After upgrading to PPM 15.4 Users are unable to see the Out of the Box Advance Reporting Content

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to PPM 15.4, when users go to advanced reporting, they are unable to see any of the out-of-the-box reports delivered with the product, but rather can only see the custom reports.

Environment

CA PPM - 15.x and above

Cause

This was caused by the "CA PPM" folder in Jasper which has the out-of-the-box reports having permissions set to "no access" had no access set for the ROLE_USER role.

Resolution

To resolve this follow these steps:
1. go to Home > Advanced Reporting
2. Go to View > Repository
3. Right click on the "CA PPM" folder and click "permissions"
4. Scroll down to the "ROLE_USER" role and set permissions to "read only"
Now you can log in as a non-admin user and you should be able to see the Out-Of-The-Box reports.
