DS8888F Compatibility CA 1 and Copycat

Issue/Introduction

We are planning to do the DASD refresh with the new DS8888F. Can you confirm whether we need to apply any compatibility fixes for that? Also can you confirm for CA1 COPYCAT as well?

At this time, there isn't a known hardware dependency for CA 1 that requires any fixes. Copycat doesn't use DASD. IBM will emulate existing DASD devices to the operating system, and we do not use any special I/O or channel commands to communicate with the device. We recommend customers be up to date with the GA PTFs published for all mainframe products.
