vmware profile validation test failing

Issue/Introduction

Profile was created using valid data (user,password,ip address) but the profile validation test fails with the following message.

Unable to retrieve remote data.

Message: Profile failed verification due to error (12) login failed, VMWare API is unavailable: com.vmware.vim25.NoPermission: null
Resolution: Please check your connection details and retry.
Error Code: VM-001
Click Close to close dialog.
Click Retry to attempt to save your configuration again.

Validated access using Vsphere client and it is OK.
Another profile for a different  vCenter env is working fine.

Environment

UIM 8.51 or later
vmware:  6.87 or later

Cause

Possible causes:

- incorrect user credentials
- permission issues for the configured user

Resolution

From a web browser running on the robot where the vmware probe is deployed, try accessing the Managed Object Browser (MOB) of the configure vCenter or ESX server using the user and password configured in the failing probe profile:

https://<FQDN (or the IP address) for the ESX/ESXi or vCenter Server>/mob

If there are access issues for the configured user, they can be determined here.  Once these issues are resolved on the vCenter or ESX/ESXi server, test the connection again from the vmware probe.
