How to export Spectrum events in OneClick to review previous events and alarms

Issue/Introduction

Our users noted that there was an alarm that generated on a device, however they were unable to find it.  How can we export and/or see all events associated to the device to determine where the event/alarm was?

Resolution

1. Find and select the model(s) desired in OneClick
2. Click on the Events tab in the Component Detail panel 
3. Right mouse click on any column header in the Events tab and display the Event Type column 

1. Click on the Filter icon (the one that looks like a funnel)Click on the Event Type tab and remove all events that are excluded 
2. Click on the General tab and set the start/end date/time needed 
3. Enable "Show events for subcomponents ..."
4. Click on the Export icon (the one that looks like a file folder 
5. Set the type to CSV and save to a file

 

By selecting the "Show events for subcomponents" the users were able to see the event/alarm generated on an interface model and not on the device like they thought.
