CPs will not start after AE database move

Issue/Introduction

After a Database migration, CPs will not start and WP logs show only error:

U00003367 No primary work process is registered in the database

JWP and JCP will start/stay running.

Oracle DBA relocated the Oracle 12.1 database to a new location and upgraded to Oracle version 12.2.

Cause

Investigation:

WPs will start, but show the following message repeated:

U00003367 No primary work process is registered in the database

CPs will not start, and show the following messages:

Resolution

Check the tnsnames.ora file for correct spelling of the new server name. Example:

Old server name: aut03uc01bl
New server name: aut01uc01vl
