Issue/Introduction

Attempts to log into  http://CAPC:8181/pc/center/admin/debug as an LDAP user don't work.  The following is seen in the PCService.log:

WARN | qtp372391975-479632 | 2017-11-30 08:58:43,805 | com.ca.im.portal.common.web.util.GlobalAdminAuthInterceptor  | Users configured for external authentication are not supported by the debug pages.

WARN | qtp372391975-479632 | 2017-11-30 08:58:43,805 | com.ca.im.portal.common.web.util.GlobalAdminAuthInterceptor

| Could not validate user 'xxx' for access to debug pages.

Environment

NetOps Portal

Resolution

Currently we don't support LDAP based "external" users for the debug pages.  The user / password must be stored in NetOps Portal and the user must be a part of the "Administrator's role.  Typically the admin user is used for accessing the debug pages, but it could be any user local to NetOps Portal that is an Administrator.
