Issue/Introduction

The security file was copied by TSSEXTEND when we converted from R14 to R15, but I do not know if the NEWPWBLOCK was specified. Since we now need to go to mixed case I need to understand If I can use the MC and UC NEWPW attributes without creating a new Security file.

Environment

Release:
Component: TSSMVS

Resolution

Issue TSS MODIFY and look for NEW_PASSWORD(xxxx). NEW_PASSWORD(Active) will display when a security file has been TSSXTEND copied with NEWPWBLK option or when the security file is formatted using TSS r14 or above.
