Unable to Remove Out of the Box Required Attribute from Create Page

Issue/Introduction

I would like to remove an out of the box, required attribute from  Object>>Views>>Object Properties>>Layout: Create.  When I remove this attribute and click 'Save' it returns to the view.

How do I remove this from view?

You will not be able to remove this from the Layout:Create view.  It can be removed from Layout: Edit.
