Endevor package fails : BOZ1453: dynalloc(): failed for DUMMY DD SYSDEFSD errcode 410, info code 0

Issue/Introduction

Executing IBM Automatic Binary Optimizer for z/OS V1.3 JCL. Package with one element or first element in multi-element package successfully executes. Second element in multi-element package is failing with error message :BOZ1453: dynalloc(): failed for DUMMY DD SYSDEFSD errcode 410, info code 0. JCL executes successfully outside of Endevor. Why is the second action failing ?

Resolution

Contact IBM for fixes. Under Endevor all element actions are executed under same task. The program was dynamically allocating the ddn, but was not deallocating it at end of the program execution. The second execution in a processor would have the allocation error, since it was still allocated.
