Issue/Introduction

CA Identity Suite Virtual Appliance 14.1 plus last VA cummulative patch 14.1 VA-CP5  is unable to increase disk after increased in Vmware and try run the resizedisk command line using user config.

Checking by command df -kh yet showing the previous total amount of disk without update.

Reboot also does not resolve the issue

Cause

It's a known issue happening in 14.1 VA-CP5 OS patch

Resolution

on 14.1 GA base version install 14.1-VA-CP5 + HF-DE344064-20180206-0003.tgz.gpg
1) 14.1-VAP-CP5 is available in CA support site in this link:
https://docops.ca.com/ca-identity-suite/14-1/EN/release-notes/ca-identity-suite-virtual-appliance-release-notes/virtual-appliance-service-packs-and-cumulative-patches-14-1/ca-identity-suite-virtual-appliance-cumulative-patches/cp-va-140100-0005-release-notes

2) To request HF-DE344064-20180206-0003.tgz.gpg, open CA Support Case to request this hot-fix.

3) After this resizedisk will be able to extend the added disk done in Vmware.
