Issue/Introduction

In R15 the DB* plans have no grant authorization rights but in R19, they do. Why is that?

Environment

Release:
Component: CIDB

Resolution

Since R17 the Datacollector Threads now needs the plan name to be allocated. This is different than it has been in the past. The Datacollector will need to be granted EXECUTE authority on the IDB2 Explain Plans reference in the PLANSXX member of the CDBAPARM. Datacollector Tasks do not execute the plan but IBM requires the plan name allocation to collect IFCID 401 data from DB2.
