Unable to configure discovery_agent using Admin Console

Issue/Introduction

Cannot open the discovery_agent probe without error, to configure it using the Admin Console (AC).

Unable to read configuration
Configuration was unable to be retrieved.

Message: Remote Request Error: Remote /<uim_domain>/<uim_hub>/<uim_robot>/snmpcollector probe processing of operation get_ctd_configuration failed.

Resolution: Please check both the PPM and remote probe log file for additional details.
Error Code: PPM 012

Click Retry to attempt to save your configuration again.
Click Close to close this Window

Environment

• UIM 20.4 or higher

Cause

• Product limitation
• Not supported for Admin Console

Resolution

The discovery_agent probe is NOT configurable via the Admin Console (AC), except for the Raw configure option.

To workaround this, please use the discovery_agent 'Raw Configure' option in the Admin Console.
