This document intent to explain how to disable the application instrumentation without uninstall the Agent.

How do I disable both the Agent and AutoProbe without uninstalling Introscope?

Environment

Introscope from 9.7x awards.

Resolution

1) Open your "Agent.Profile"
2) Search for below section:

# On/Off Switch
#
# ================
# This boolean property gives you the ability to disable
# Introscope AutoProbe by settings the property value
# to false.
# You must restart the managed application before changes to this property take effect.

introscope.autoprobe.enable=true

3) Change the below value to false:

introscope.autoprobe.enable=false

4) Restart the application.
