Event Manager Process Crashes

Issue/Introduction

The event manager process has crashed twice recently. The log indicates it shutting down but its not clear why. INFO | jvm 4 | 2018/07/15 01:59:57 | | Deleting 21 old items from db. STATUS | wrapper | 2018/07/15 02:00:10 | TERM trapped. Shutting down.

Environment

capm 3.5

Cause

System backups were causing very high disk usage and resource load.

Resolution

stop all CAPC services before running system backups or snapshots.
