Issue/Introduction



  Users are reporting that their web services metrics are not reporting for their Windows servers.  The Agent configuration was checked and it was confirmed that all of the PBLs and PBDs are on the node. The web services metrics stopped reporting for a few nodes all at the same time. The server were rebooted, then afterwards it was noticed metrics stopped.

Resolution

It was found that the SCOM agent was active on the problem system and hijacking the APM monitoring from CA APM .NET Agent.

In this case, the SCOM Agent was disabled to allow CA APM .NET Agent to be loaded with the monitored .NET applications.
