Renaming Roadmap Board Column Names in CA PPM New UX?

Issue/Introduction

How can I rename Roadmap Board Column headers in the CA PPM New User Experience (UX)? Example, when viewing Roadmaps using Columns type of Unapproved, Pending Approval, etc display, but we want to rename these to different header names.

Environment

Release: Any Clarity PPM release
Component: ODPRM

Resolution

Option 1: Create a picklist with the values you prefer for column names as Choices

Below are the steps on how to do this:

1. From the Roadmap Board view, click on the Settings icon then select the drop down next to COLUMNS
2. Click NEW PICKLIST
3. Add a PICKLIST NAME
4. Click ADD CHOICE and enter the first preferred Column Name (Repeat this step for each Column name to be created)
5. Once all Choices have been added click DONE
6. To use the new Picklist, click on the Settings icon, then select the new Picklist from the COLUMNS drop down

Option 2: To rename the columns globally for an existing field such as Status, you can change the values for the respective lookup in the Administration ->Lookups section in Classic PPM

Below are the steps on how to do this:

1. In PPM, go to the Classic UI, then Administration->Data Administration->Lookups 
2. Click on the link for the lookup you want to rename columns for (Example, for Status, filter for 'Roadmap Item Status' and then click on the link to that lookup)
3. Click on the Values tab 
4. Click on the Value you want to rename 
5. Change the name in the 'Lookup Value Name' field and click 'Save and Return' 
6. Refresh the Board view if you are currently on that page, and the new Column names should now appear
